What is LASDA?
The University of Louisville School of Dentistry’s chapter of the American Student Dental Association is a student-run organization that protects and advances the rights, interests, and welfare of dental students. It introduces students to lifelong involvement in organized dentistry and provides services, information, education, representation, and advocacy. Our Officer Board also serves as the Student Government Association for the School of Dentistry. Read more about us under the “About” tab above.

As leaders in our community, we volunteer to contribute positively to the community, foster a sense of social responsibility among its members, and create a meaningful impact that aligns with its values and mission.
MENTORSHIP
Provide mentorships to pre-dental students to provide guidance, support, and valuable insights into the dental profession, aiming to empower aspiring dental professionals with the skills needed for success in their academic and professional journeys.

At the 2023 ASDA Annual Session, our chapter was honored to receive the ASDA Chapter of the Year Gold Crown Award.
